My partner and I created a new site for Bark & Co. to help foster and grow dog culture, while keeping in mind the 360 nature of the company's online properties.
Enter: Barktionary. A place where dog loving people could grow their culture by expanding and archiving dog language. Visitors can contribute and "claim ownership" of dog terms, browse words by categories, and link out to other Bark & Co. properties.
To keep people flowing between Bark&Co sites, we created hover-over definition popups in BarkPost content, and added Barktionary definitions to BarkShop, allowing customers to buy totes, mugs, and more with our words on them.

Tasked with creating new partnerships, potential IPs and ways to grow and enrich Bark’s online community, my partner and I created Barktionary; the online social dictionary for dog lovers.
